The Multicultural Club is proud to announce that it will be having its second Multicultural Fair on April 10 in the cafeteria. The McCall Multicultural Club is about different cultures worldwide and how we want our McCall and Winchester communities to experience these cultures. The fair will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and everybody is welcome!
McCall’s Multicultural Club consists of seven members who have been planning their fair since the beginning of the year. They meet every Wednesday in EG05 from 3:20 pm to 4:15 pm. If you are interested in their club, they would be very happy to have new members. During their meetings, they brainstorm ideas for the multicultural fair. They also learn about different cultures and send letters and videos to Romanian penpals!
Any person who would like to represent a country at the fair would be more than welcome. The countries represented at the fair, that they have so far, (as of March 19th) are Bangladesh, China, Germany, Cuba, India, Jordan, Sicily, Bosnia, South Africa, and South Korea. They hosted a multicultural fair last year, but this year they plan to improve it. Along with the tables representing cultures, they are going to have performances. There is also going to be a photo background setup so that you can have your picture taken and have a “passport” made so that you can travel around to the different countries at the fair.
McCall’s Multicultural Club is excited to have a Multicultural Fair. They have been planning it for a while and are working very hard on it. The fair is going to be super fun and interactive. Everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there!
