What is Kpop Demon Hunters and why has it grabbed so many people’s attention? This is what many people have been asking themselves, and with good reason.
The exclusive Netflix movie has gained increasing popularity since its release day. The movie released on June 20, 2025 and started its production in March 2021. This movie was originally released aiming towards kids ages 10-14 but has slowly made its way to other ages’ hearts. Not only the hearts of the parents of the fanatic kids, but also grandparents, aunts, uncles and even grown adults that might not have children.
What is it?
The animated film is 1 hour 39 minutes long, and its genre is musical and action. The plot of the movie is that the female band called HUNTR/X is trying their hardest to keep demons away from the real world. The demon boy band- The Saja Boys- try to take over the HUNTR/X stealing their fans and their job. No one knows they defeat demons, and they can’t let anyone know… but will they be able to? Will they be able to stop the demons that try to take over their job?

Many fans have made trailers and published them, claiming that it was the official trailer for the second movie. This was done so they could get all of the views possible, seeing the popularity of the Netflix Original. The new trailer hasn’t been officially released, seeing that the second movie was announced fairly recently.
Overall, the movie still is number one on the Netflix movies for kids, and its hit songs are in the top 50 U.S.A on Spotify. This movie is a great, fun thing to watch, and I would definitely recommend it.
In my opinion, Kpop Demon Hunters is a great movie. Its hit songs and dances are so catchy and will get stuck in your head for many hours. I think this movie grabbed everyone’s attention because of all of its colors and action. The highlights in Korean culture, scenes, action, comedy and catchy music, all explain why the movie is so popular and watched.
