The Halloween Dance is Creeping up on Us!
Hello, hello McCall students! Next week is going to be very eventful, especially if you are a sixth grader! As some might have older siblings that raved about this night, a few of you might know that an annual halloween dance is among us! That’s right! This is only for the 6th graders, not you 7th and 8th graders! (Sorry!☹️) The dance is being held in the gym on Friday October 24th, at 6pm. to 8pm. It’s so soon! This fun occasion includes a DJ, snacks, a costume contest, and plain old fun! This is a ticketed event, so make sure you buy a ticket in time. We encourage you not to buy them at the front door and buy them ahead of time, as doing so will delay the entry. Bring a friend(s), or a date, but most importantly, bring yourself! This night is going to be a great way to kick off the transition to McCall Middle School! More on this topic below! ⬇️
About
The Halloween dance is a big part of 6th grade. Lots of people have heard about it from their older siblings, who might have told them about the dance. But if you are just hearing about this now, don't worry! Lets dive in to what this dance is all about.
Tickets
Tickets need to be purchased! They are 15$ for each person attending the dance. As you should note, purchasing tickets in person is going to delay your entry into the dance. So we suggest you check your parent/Guardians email and pay online. If you’re wondering how to pay online, all you need to do is click the email and then click the BUY A TICKET NOW HERE! Just like that! You are supposed to bring your ticket, so that whoever is checking you in knows you have paid! As we said, buying a ticket on the night of the dance may delay many entries, not only yours. But don't feel the need to buy before the night, if you can only buy at the dance, that’s perfectly fine too! Don’t feel pressure from this article to buy tickets beforehand.
Costume contest
The dance has a Costume contest. A huge part of the party is the Halloween dance. Costumes are indeed optional, but if you do come with a costume, there will be a chance to be nominated for the best costume(s) at the party. You can do it with just yourself, and even participate as a group! Get your costume ready and try to win against all the people that are looking to win themselves!
Photos
There’s going to be a photobooth at the dance! We’re not very sure what type of photos will look like, but many will be taking home a memory from this amazing night!
DJ
Get ready to boogie with our fantastic DJ!! DJ John is coming to our school and he’s going to be playing music for us at the dance! Feel free to dance with your friends to the amazing music that will be playing all night long!
This dance is going to be amazing! Make sure you mark Friday the 24th 6pm on your calendars for this special occasion! We’ll see you there for the 6th grade McCall Middle School Halloween Dance!
