Everyone uses Google Classroom. Every teacher has one, even exploratory teachers. One thing you might not know about it is that there are some very helpful tools to help you stay organized.
To-Do List
The To-Do list tool is the most helpful in my opinion. It shows you what assigned work hasn't been completed. There are categories for no due date, this week, next week and later. Each category has a number which shows you how much work is in each. There is also a tab for missing work, which is work that is overdue. It has the same categories. It can be found in the left side margin.
Calendar
The calendar is another good tool. It shows you all of your assignments, the due dates of those assignments and what class they are for. If you click on an assignment, it brings you to that assignment in the specific classroom. It can be found in the left side margin.
Moving Classes
If you go to the home tab (In the left side margin) it will show you all of your classrooms. When you go to the three dots on the side of each classroom, you will see a box that says move. You can move your classroom wherever you want and it will change on the left side margin. You could order your classes from favorite to least favorite or from first period to last period.
These are some of Google Classrooms helpful tools.
