As you may know, Jojo Siwa has recently created a second Spotify account, and changed her old one. Now, she has Jojo Siwa (Kids), which is her original, and Jojo Siwa as her new one. Not only does she have a new account, but she has a new description.
The first few sentences go like this, "More than anything, Jojo Siwa's music sounds confidently and gleefully unrestrained. She matches the rush and intensity of the maximalist pop soundscapes around her with uncompromising lyrical honesty and unfettered creative freedom. Nothing is off the table as the multiplatinum history-making global force of nature, entrepeneur, film star, best-selling author, and philanthropist opens up about life, love, and everything in-between."
First of all, Jojo Siwa is not unrestrained. She is screechy, and self conscious, so she uses heavy autotune. Also, what rush and intensity? Thirdly, she has no lyrical honesty! Karma, Jojo's latest single, was written by some random random guy in the 2010s who did not intend for Jojo Siwa to sing it. At that point, she was just a kid, and she had not even begun singing about girl power and candy.
I have to point out that Jojo Siwa calls herself "a global force of nature." What does that even mean? She is globally made fun of, but Jojo has nothing to do with nature. Additionally, she says that she "opens up," but Jojo Siwa's new era (and her old one, to be honest) does not reflect anything in her life.
After that, she goes on for a while about all of the records she broke (those are true), including how she made history by being the first person to dance with a same-sex partner on Dancing With Stars. Finally, Jojo Siwa begins to wrap it up. "Now, she steps into what she was always meant to become on a series of 2024 singles for Columbia records, beginning with Karma."
This final sentence is very interesting, because Jojo says that she was always was meant to become... whatever it is that she is now. A bad girl? This makes no sense, though, because we know she is not really a bad girl. Definitely not. She may not be a teenager prancing around with a huge bow in her hair anymore, but this is all a bit extreme. Jojo Siwa has been extra defensive of her new era, since the world is calling it unnatural and stupid. However, she is just a dramatic character, and this description is apart of it.
