I have a lot of friends in China and here. I interviewed some friends from China and from here. Let's see if they have a similar vision of video games or not! First, let's see some Chinese students:
1. PUBG Mobile: A lot of students say they like the game because of a part called Escaping The Subway. This is a part that you can shoot freely, and it is exciting. Some of them said they feel like they are millinery and protect their own place. A fifth grader said he feels relaxed when he is playing this game. There are three person voted this game and they are all in 5 and 6 grade. That means this game is for kids around middle school ages.
2. Honor Of Kings: This is a game that is similar to Brawl Star. You can choose the character you like to play in this game. One sixth grader said that the character has different characteristics and a lot of Ancient Chinese people. The most exciting game is the 5v5 competition, it can be very surprising and fun! There are also other different games, you are always engaging to play! All the sixth graders love this game: girls love the character skin and boys love to team up!
3. Eggy Party: This is a very cute game that most girls like to play. One boy said that it has exciting movements and can buy cute pets. One part of Eggy Party is you can team up and score big points to get a high level. If you get a high level, you can have a lot of beautiful skin for your eggy--your character. There are a lot of parts of this game too, and you can create your map! Also, you can play other person's map too! Their map has different types. For example: running and viewing!
4. Minecraft: Minecraft is very popular in America too! This is a game that every middle schooler had to try. In this game, you can build your own house and fight with the monsters. Most Chinese students like to play a battle called the morning fight. There is also a PvP game in Minecraft that is very mind-blowing. There is only one person who likes to play Minecraft. But I believe that Minecraft is popular in China and America!
5. Identity V: The older kids like to play this game as well. A seventh grader said that the games are very exciting and can bring you big surprises when you play the game. When you play this game, you need to complete the assignment or catch the people who are doing the assignment. People's favorite map is the factory map. The factory map's roads are clear and there are a lot of hiding spots for people who aren't catching.
6. Dark Myth Monkey King: This is a game about the Chinese ancient story: Journey To The West. It's basically about a monkey and another 4 people going on a journey. They overcome all the problems at last and finally get the true scripture. A lot of adults love to play this game. Because it has a good plot and mystery music in the background. This can show your skill in games and can study a lot of Chinese history.
7. Call Of Duty: If you look at the article about the Top 10 video games, you may notice that Call Of Duty is in third place. This is also an international game. A seventh grader said it has a true setting and story. It is also a shooting game. People can use their brains to think about where to hide and when to shoot. But students below 8 can't play this game. Because they are too young for all of the shooting games. It also has a different mode of the game, go try and have fun!
8. WRC II: This is a racing game. Many boys like to play this game. You can win points by racing the car with other people. Some kids like them because it has professional-grade physics engines, speed-racing, and many different skins of cars. It inspires people to discover their car and compete in more races! Ultra-realistic graphics make this game more popular. You can compete with your friends and see who will win!
9. GENSHIN: Middle school girls love this game. A sixth grader said that it can prove her eyes and hands has cooperation. It is like a living game, you can decorate your character. Everybody likes to build their character. They can have beautiful skins too. GENSHIN's background can be built on your own and the setting is pretty. Some of the characters can be cosplayed in real life! Go have fun with your friends together!
There are many games that Chinese student play. Now let's compare and see American students' video games!
Roblox: Roblox is a kids game. Kids love this game. The first reason is that it has different small games on Roblox. The second reason is it has a block game and a fun game that you can never stop. Also, every single game has a fun setting! Six people voted for Roblox, most girls like to play a game called Dress To Impress. Boys like to play shooting or gun games! Both of them are really fun and extremely good!
Fortnite: All the boys love Fortnite! Two sixth grader said that it's a good and smooth game. It is epic and also free. Some kids just enjoy it because they are very good at it. Fortnite has animated background and character, that's also a reason some people love it. There are a lot of video about how to playing Fortnite on You Tube too! Go get your friends and team up with you to play this awesome game!
Brawl Star: As I said, Brawl Star is similar to Honor Of King above. It can attack people with different characters and different skills. You can buy or get strong characters and play with them. One mode of Brawl Star is soccer competition. You can score and kill people with your wonderful skill. The most interesting part is how to control your character. You need to find a character that is best for you and play with your game skills!
Mario Odyssey: This is a Nintendo game. You can play the switch and then see it on the TV. A sixth grader said that it has a good setting and a beautiful graphic. You need to collect stars at every station you go. It's more fun than the Super Mario original. You can buy Mario's clothes and get to the end. The story and the plot are awesome: Mario needs to help Princess Peach. Princess Peach is in danger, and Mario needs to fight with the monsters!
Call Of Duty: American students like to play this game too! They think Call Of Duty is next level above Fortnite and can shooting people as well. They are engaging to playing all of the mode they have and all of the character they use! This is the only one that has the same video game as the Chinese students! Adults, teenager, go play this game and have fun with your friend and family! Skill can be approve in this game too! Go try it!
Subway Surfers: This is a running game. You need to try to get as many coins as possible and don't hit on a subway. It's fun because you can show your running skills. Most fifth graders like to play Subway Surfer. They like how the characters jump and run and go down. But it's very complicated because of the subway in the game. You may hit the subway very easily when you are not paying attention to the game.
Conclusion
As you can see, I interviewed 14 people in China and 14 people in America. But there are 9 games in the China section and 6 games in the America section. That means China's students play games more separately and America's students concentrate. Only Call Of Duty that both American and Chinese students played. I hope you have a fun time to read about this article and can try different games after you are done reading!
Also, I noticed that most Chinese students like to play fighting and shooting games. Most American boys like to fight games too! But, American girls love to play Roblox, they think Roblox is the best. Maybe they both think Call Of Duty is exciting and has a high level of shooting, true story, and fun characters can choose. I think all the games are good, but you need to find your favorite one!
