Chorale

Chorale is an elementary choir made up of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who enjoy singing, learning more about music and performing. We sing unison, two and three part music, hitting on various genres including pop, classical, sacred, folk, gospel, jazz and multicultural. We perform multiple times during the year not only to teach us about performing, but also to bring joy to the Weston community and beyond. We perform at two elementary programs each year, as well as at schools, retirement homes, Weston community and school events and for anyone else who asks!

Mission: The mission of the Elementary Chorale is to develop team-focused, dedicated, and disciplined musicians in a true choral setting, as well as encourage the enjoyment of singing and performing.

Meetings: Students meet in the elementary music classroom each Tuesday and Thursday from 7:20 am-7:50 am throughout the entire school year.

Participation: Students who are in 4th, 5th or 6th grade can participate.

Dues: There is a one-time cost for the official Chorale polo shirt which ranges from $10-$20 depending on the year. Once the shirt is purchased, students can use the shirt for all 3 years.
