Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Abby Penny. I am very excited about being your child’s teacher this year! I was born and raised in Franklinton. I graduated from Franklinton High School and received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. This will be my seventeenth year to teach Pre-K. I am married to Trent Penny and have two sons.

Not only as an educator, but as a mother of two children, I understand how important and special these years are for children and their parents. These years are full of adventures in learning and developing the academic skills, as well as social skills, that will lay a firm foundation for future success in school and beyond. Throughout the year I cannot wait to see all of the children’s unique abilities and talents emerge.
