The 2020 school year marks Mr. Lenhart's 10th year at Benny Middle School. Mr. Lenhart is a professional Saxophone player and woodwind specialist. His passion is seeing students "level up" on their instruments and find the joy in creating music.

Mr. Lenhart grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Chicago in 2008. He earned an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Youngstown State University in Ohio with majors in both Saxophone and Voice. When he is not immersed in music, Mr. Lenhart spends his free time Cycling, Running, and watching Sci-Fi shows with his 3-year-old daughter.
