The Barbados Obstacle Racing Federation (BORF) is the National Governing Body for Obstacle and Multi-sports and events in Barbados. We are a member based nonprofit that represents the needs of the sport through athlete representation and engagement.
BORF is a member federation of World Obstacle, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO) and the sole national governing body for obstacle sports in Barbados. BORF is also a member of the Pan American Obstacle Sports Federation, the continental association of World Obstacle member federations in the Americas.
The mission of BORF is to promote Ninja, Obstacle Course Racing and Adventure Racing, to lead the Obstacle Sports, and meet the requirements as specified by the Barbados Olympics Association and World Obstacle.
Our goals include facilitating safer, fairer races at a lower cost and providing a route for athletes to compete at international and Games competitions. This includes event safety, fairness, rankings, operations, medical standards, and rule enforcement.
