Serving the Kalama, Woodland, Ridgefield and La Center communities with safe and reliable student transportation because our passengers are our future.
After 7 years, Ray Hanson is retiring from KWRL. He has enjoyed working with the other drivers in the La Center school district. For 6 years Ray has held La Center route 54. A benefit for driving a particular route for that length of time allowed Ray to journey life with a select group of students. In that period, he has built long-lasting relationships with the students and he will be greatly missed. Ray is looking forward to his next chapter. He and his wife intend to travel domestically throughout the United States. He also plans to visit his family. Thank you Ray for your dedicated service with KWRL and providing great service to the La Center community. KWRL has a sign posted in the office which states “Anyone can drive a car, but it takes someone special drive a School Bus.” Ray, you’re truly a special person. Wishing you the very best! Enjoy your retirement!
