OUR ROLE

KWRL role when providing transportation for Special needs student is simple, treat each individual with dignity and respect and to assure that the student transportation accomodations provided are safe and reliable to and from their school.

SPECIAL EDUCATION BUS DRIVER

The job of Special Education Bus Driver was established for the purpose/s of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting Special Education students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.

FRIENDLY STAFF

Sheila Schafer is tasked to lead the fairly impressive 30 special needs KWRL bus fleet. She has over 23 years of experience and has a passion for assisting parents/guardians to ensure that thier student(s) needs are met. Sheila understands and recognizes that each student has their own circumstances and assures to give her best foot forward.
