Absence Policy

Practice and Games

• It is the responsibility of the player to notify the coach of their absence.

• When possible, always notify the head coach (for varsity players) or the JV coach (for JV players) of any planned absences ahead of time (at least 48 hours prior to the said absence). A lot goes into planning training sessions and preparing game plans and it's important for us to know who's available and who isn't.

• Scheduled absences MUST be approved by the head coach, or an assistant in the head coach's absence.

• Unscheduled absences will result in a player not playing one half of a game or even an entire game depending on the severity of the absence.

• Repeat unexcused absences will result in a suspension or possible dismissal from the team.
