OUR MISSION:
Woodburn High School Theatre strives to shape and empower scholar-artists who are creative problem solvers and empathetic contributors to their community.
This is accomplished by...
Joyously embracing challenges that lead to artistic excellence.
Pursuing engaging field trips, conferences, competitions and guest artists that inspire our work and challenge our assumptions.
Fostering a safe, nurturing environment where all students are seen, known, and given a voice.
Offering student-driven productions and volunteer opportunities that are relevant to the broader life and culture of the school and community.
Offering rigorous courses, aligned with the National Theatre Standards, to expand and unleash the unique skills of each scholar-artist.
Actively participating in Oregon Thespians in order to connect our work to educational theatre across our state while celebrating the achievements of outstanding scholar-artists.
