What if I forgot my Chromebook at home?

You will be provided with a loaner for the day. You will need to report to the Technology Office between 7:30am-8:00am to obtain your loaner before the school day begins.

What if I forgot to charge my Chromebook?

You will be provided with a loaner for the day. You will need to report to the Technology Office between 7:30am-8:00am to obtain your loaner before the school day begins.

What if my Chromebook was damaged accidentally or through normal wear and tear?

Students will need to fill out a Damage Report Form and submit it (within two days). Also, the Chromebook will need to be brought to the Technology Department for assessment and the student will be given a loaner while their Chromebook is being fixed. If a Chromebook can be repaired, we will perform the first repair for free. Any additional repairs will be $50. We can repair screens, keyboards, and batteries. We will replace the first charger for free whether it is damaged or lost. Additional chargers will be $30. We will make every effort to repair a Chromebook. We want these devices working as much as you do.

What if my Chromebook was damaged purposefully?

Students will need to fill out a Damage Report Form and submit it (within two days). As stated in the One-to-One Agreement the student and their family will be responsible for the total cost of the Chromebook ($255). Students will be put on the Property Due List, and given a loaner only after they have paid for the cost of a replacement or have made arrangements with Administration.

What if my Chromebook is lost or stolen?

While we understand that both incidents can be traumatic for a student, the student is still responsible for the Chromebook. Students will need to fill out a Damage Report Form and submit it (Within 2 Days). As stated in the One-to-One Agreement the student and their family will be responsible for the total cost of the Chromebook ($255). Each incident will be assessed individually case by case; students will be put on the Property Due List, and will be given a loaner when they have paid for a replacement or have made arrangements with Administration.

Can I take my Chromebook home during the summer?

No. Chromebooks will be kept at school and will be able to be picked up at a later determined date before the start of the next school year.

When do I turn my Chromebook in before summer?

Students will turn their Chromebooks, charging cables, and cases in to the Technology Department in the auditorium after their last final. Students who forget to do so will be put on the Property Due List and will need to make arrangements with the Technology Department to turn it in.

Can I use my Chromebook and take it home if I am in Summer School?

Students in summer school will receive their Chromebook the first day of class and will be expected to turn it in the last day of class.

Will I be able to purchase my Chromebook when I graduate?

Yes. Prices my differ the first few years based on the model of Chromebook and when it was purchased in relation to when you graduate, until the Class of 2023 and following.
