Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship

One male and one female Iowan who have been involved in Iowa Games events (at least once).
Applicants character: Citizenship, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, perseverance and sportsmanship are just a few of the values on which this award is based.

Henry County Health Center (HCHC) and Friends of HCHC

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage education and future employment in a healthcare field at HCHC. Applicants must be residents of Henry County, HCHC associates, or a family member of an HCHC associate.

Applicants must submit a 250 word (maximum) essay about a school counselor who made a difference during their K-12 career.

The applicant must be an Iowa resident and high school senior graduating in the 2019-2020 school year.
A minimum 3.0 high school grade point average (4.0 scale) is required.
The applicant must plan to enroll as a full-time student and pursue a technology-related degree at an Iowa college, university or community college.

Hagan Scholarship Application

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must attend an Eligible Public High School.
Must be a student in the 2020 high school graduating class.
Must have achieved a high school CGPA of 3.75 or higher.
Must have scored 24 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score) or 1,150 on the SAT.
Must enroll at an eligible four-year college the first semester following high school graduation.
Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of college; from August 2019 to August 2020.
Must complete the FAFSA in 2019 using 2018 tax return information; the EFC must not exceed $6,500.
Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
