WMU Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Secure, Efficient and Sustainable Energy Technology

The WMU Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Secure, Efficient and Sustainable Energy Technology was founded in May 2023 with support from U.S. Senator Gary Peters and the U.S. Department of Energy. It is managed by the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) and funded by the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (DOE-CESER).

Directors and track leaders of the Center currently include WMU researchers from 7 programs in 3 colleges.
