Dear fellow students,

We’re running to represent your interests as Student Body President and Vice President with a people-centered, results-driven campaign. We believe in going directly to you to understand the problems you’re facing, rather than waiting for you to come to us. If elected, we’ll leverage our deep understanding of student issues and our knowledge of Student Assembly’s abilities to create tangible solutions and advocate for you in meetings with administrators.

Our experiences with Student Assembly, the William & Mary administration, and the Williamsburg community have equipped us for effective leadership that truly gets things done. We’re committed to representing the wants and needs of the student body as a whole, and our platform reflects this—born out of countless conversations with students across campus. We’ve carefully crafted initiatives that we’re eager to see come to fruition.

Our track record speaks for itself. We’ve been the driving forces behind initiatives like the Lavender House—W&M’s first Special Interest Community for the LGBTQ+ community—and the Period Project, which has made great strides in providing free period products to students under Zoe's leadership. In his freshman year, Matt funded and distributed phone wallet “keypers” to help students keep track of their keys. We’ve also continued the subsidization of sexual health resources and worked to add more campus furniture, like swings and tables between Washington and McGlothlin Hall. 

We’re not just focused on what’s happening here at W&M; we’re also aware of the world around us. Over the last year, we’ve learned how changes in the political landscape can affect students, and we’re prepared to proactively protect student rights and ensure diversity programs remain intact. We've already started working with WM FIRE to support and inform special immigration status students and their allies to make sure the W&M campus is ready for whatever challenges may come our way.

With hard work and dedication, we’ve proven that we walk the walk. We’re ready to continue pushing for real, tangible change, and we’re excited to take on the challenge of representing you.
