Grade 8 Social Studies 

In this unit, students will engage in analysis and exploration of the various causes of the American Revolution, its significant events and people, and the war's effects. 

In this unit, students will explore and analyze the development of the new nation. They will study Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, and Jackson. They will analyze the major events of the time and make meaningful connections that show how they all impact our world today. 

In this unit, students will examine the Constitution and what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America. They explore the three branches of government, the system of checks and balances, and how laws are created. Students examine the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizens and analyze major Supreme Court cases that greatly impacted the country.
