Child Development

This course is designed for students interested in working with young children and introduces the fundamentals of child development and early childhood education. Students will study the development, care, and education of children from birth through preschool. An integral part of the course is a weekly placement in a preschool classroom at North Street School, where students will work directly with preschool staff and children. Students will be expected to meet all responsibilities and requirements associated with the placement.
