In this unit, students will learn about the characteristics of printmaking. This will include additive and subtractive methods in creating printing plates. Students will experience the printmaking process through different techniques.
In this unit, students will learn about the features of the face. This will include viewing traditional and contemporary styles of portraits. Students will experience different drawing techniques of portrait drawing.
In this unit, students will reflect on their artwork from the semester and identify an area for improvement or growth. Students will plan and create a final project that demonstrates stronger skills, revised techniques, or new learning. Students will document their progress through sketches, photographs, and written reflections in their portfolios.
