Covid-19 Test Kit Information
We are excited to announce that Woodland Joint Unified School District is participating in a pilot program with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The program is called “iHealth Return from Vacation Testing Program” and the goal is to help staff and students test for Covid at-home after a vacation break to help reduce the spread of Covid at schools. CDPH has partnered with Primary.Health to offer these tests to schools and to provide a way for staff and students to register and easily report positive results.
On Wednesday, each staff member and student will be provided with a Self-Test At Home Kit to take home and use prior to returning to work or school after the winter break.
Each kit has two (2) tests. Written instructions on how to perform the tests can be found in the box. Video instructions can be found on YouTube at How to use the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test.
Written instructions can also be found here: iHeath Quick Start Guide (English), iHealth Quick Start Guide (Spanish)
The first test should be done 3 days prior to returning to school or work AND the other should be done the day before returning to school or work.
For students, the first test should be done on Friday, January 7 and the second test done Sunday, January 9.
The positive results of the test can be reported in one of the following ways.
Log into the Primary Health website to report results using the following link specifically for WJUSD staff and students: https://my.primary.health/l/woodlandjusd
Call the Primary Health phone line to log results at 650-275-5419.
Email positive tests results to WJUSDCOVID@wjusd.org
Note: Please do not use the QR code on the box to report results. The QR code will prompt you to download the iHealth app. This app does not report results.
If your tests are positive please contact the district for additional information by sending an email to WJUSDCOVID@wjusd.org. Negative results do not need to be reported.
