IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARENTS

If students experience symptoms of COVID-19 at school, we will call and ask for your child to be picked up, returned home, and stay home until they have met the CDPH criteria to return:

• At least 24 hours have passed since the resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications;

and

• Other symptoms have improved,

and meets one of the following criteria:

• • The student has a negative test for COVID-19;

or

• • A health care provider has confirmed an alternative diagnosis; or

  • At least 10 days have passed since the day the symptoms first appeared.

AVISO IMPORTANTE PARA LOS PADRES

Si los estudiantes experimentan síntomas de COVID-19 en la escuela, llamaremos y pediremos que su hijo/a sea recogido, regrese a casa y se quede en casa hasta que haya cumplido con los criterios del CDPH para regresar:

• Han pasado al menos 24 horas desde la resolución de la fiebre sin el uso de medicamentos para reducir la fiebre;

y

• Otros síntomas han mejorado,

y cumple uno de los siguientes criterios:

• • • • El alumno tiene una prueba de COVID-19 negativa;

o

• • • • Un proveedor de atención médica ha confirmado un diagnóstico alternativo;

o

• • • • Han pasado al menos 10 días desde el día en que aparecieron los síntomas por primera vez.
