Good Morning.

Today is Thursday October 9. It is a BLUE day.

Congratulations to the Varsity Cheerleaders on their 1st place win at their 1st Game Day competition!

This year NCOD or National Coming Out Day corresponds with our spirit week! Yay! Today Thursday October 9, you can show both your school spirit and support safe spaces for LGBTQ youth by wearing rainbow or bright colors. Show your love of the 70s with rainbow tie dye, or the 80s and 90s with bright neon colors!   NCOD is a day to "come out" in support of anti-bullying of  LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) youth. 85% of LGBT students report verbal harassment in schools. Wearing the rainbow ribbon means you are taking a stand against the discrimination, violence, harassment and bullying of LGBT people by "coming out" in support of safe spaces where they LIVE, LEARN, WORK, PLAY and PRAY. Rainbow ribbons are available in the main office, or in room 206, the health classroom. Remember to Be kind. A little bit of kindness goes a long way!
