Dear Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to fourth grade! This is now my twenty-fifth year teaching at Manetuck. I am looking forward to a very exciting year with you and your child. During the year, I will keep you informed of what we are doing in the classroom, including new concepts, activities, and important updates via Classdojo and/or ParentSquare. My goal for this year is to make this a wonderful and rewarding year filled with many meaningful memories! I am eager to meet each one of you as we embark on our journey through fourth grade!

The following is a list of supplies your child will need for school on the first day:

Mr. Tummel’s Supplies Room 206:

• 1 one subject spiral notebook

• 1 black and white composition book

• 2 bottom pocket folders (one for homework and one for classwork)

• 1 pack of colored pencils or crayons

• 1 black pens, 1 red pens

• 2 Sharpie markers

• 2 glue stick

• 2 boxes of tissues

• Smock

• 5 dry erase markers and an eraser

• 1 pair of scissors

• 1 small pencil case that can hold supplies

• 50 sharpened pencils

• 1 headset for Chromebook

• A good quality water bottle that your child can keep at their desk

• One small microfiber cloth to clean device screen

• 1 Large pack of post-its
