Recognition
Students are recognized for their efforts and achievement in a variety of ways throughout the school year. Progress reports, the Honor Roll, the Principal’s List, academic and achievement awards, and the National Junior Honor Society are just some of the measures used to recognize and reward students.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society is under the sponsorship and supervision of the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Each chapter follows the National Constitution and adopts by-laws to clarify its individual selection and operating procedure.
The purpose of the NJHS is to recognize academic achievement, create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship. The National Junior Honor Society provides service to the school and community.
