Memorial Elementary school campus was built in 1989 and is located in Weslaco, Texas at 1700 S. Border.
The campus received its name in memorandum of those students who attended the Weslaco Independent School District and gave their lives for our country.
The school has serviced children in grades Pre-k 3 through the 5th grade. Memorial has received many awards and has been rated an A+ school for the last several years.

Military Families New to Memorial Elementary:
Memorial Elementary would like to welcome you to our Memorial family! At Memorial, we welcome our military families and are ready to assist you in making this transition as smooth as possible. We acknowledge the tolls of having to adjust in new places, therefore we want to ensure that we are doing everything possible for your child to receive the best opportunity for a proper education that meets all their needs. We are here to serve you.
Duties of Campus Military Liaison:
Designated Point of Contact which works collaboratively between military-connected students, their families, and our campus. Ensure Military connected students receive assistance from the campus as needed. The Liaison is an advocate for students and each of their unique need. They teach students resilience and help build courage to overcome the challenges faced by military students.
