Kayln Resendez

Hi! My name is Kayln, but you can call me Katy June. I was born on June 20, 2002 in Weslaco, Texas and I am 17 years old. I am currently a senior here at Weslaco East High School.

I grew up an only child, but was always surrounded by my loving family so I was never alone. In 2010, I moved from McAllen to Weslaco. Since then, I've been doing what I love most, dancing. I ́m proud to say that I've been dancing with amazing girls for ten years, and it fulfills my heart to perform with them.

Throughout my four years in high school, I've spent my time serving in amazing student organizations such as Business Professionals America, National Honor Society, Distributive Education Clubs of America, and the Interact Club.

In my free time, I love spending time with my loved ones, listening to music, and traveling with my mom. I also have a passion for graphic design and fashion which influenced my future career. My dream is to move to California and work for a fashion magazine or anything in the fashion industry. Before making that huge step, my goal is to attend the University of Texas San Antonio in Fall 2020 and major in Marketing.
