My Background:

I was born and raised in Weslaco, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Master in Guidance and Counseling and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I worked as a Physical Education Teacher for 3 years and a Career and Technology Counselor for 7; all while being an Athletic Coach in a neighboring district. In 2008, I was hired by Memorial to be your school counselor. I LOVE my job and the students at Memorial Elementary. It is an honor and a pleasure to serve each and every one of you! This is my 13th year at Memorial and my 23rd year in education.
