Graphs are a fun way to organize and interpret data! You can collect data about all sorts of things! This graph shows data about favorite pets! A graph has a title at the top. The choices are across the bottom which is a HORIZONTAL line. The numbers showing votes are on the side which is a VERTICAL line! Watch the Horizontal/Vertical Song! COLUMNS go up and down VERTICALLY, and ROWS go acroos HORIZONTALLY!
There are lots of different kinds of graphs! This is a bar graph. Other graphs have tally marks or pictures!
