Resident Spotlight: Lin Zhao
Second year resident, Lin Zhao, started her year with a clinical trial rotation with Dr. Nasia Safdar's team at UW Health and VA hospital. She is currently involved in four clinical trials. She is learning how to design studies and recruit participants with health equity in mind, how to communicate study information to clinicians and patients, and how to use data to monitor clinical trials. Dr. Safdar's team helped to shape her career goal towards possible clinical informatics fellowship as she prepares for the next stage of her career.
Devlin Cole Featured on Campus Vaccination Video
Devlin Cole (PGY-3) has continued on her journey of communicating Covid information on campus!
Devlin was featured in a video made by the Associated Students of Madison (ASM) along with the Dean of Students, Christina Olstad to encourage students to get vaccinated. See the video here.
PMR takes on the Wisconsin River
A few of our residents joined the Remingtons on their annual canoe trip from Arena to Spring Green over the Labor Day weekend! Sara Doyle (PGY-2), Lin Zhao (PGY-3), Devlin Cole (PGY-3), faculty member Tom Oliver and about 20 other friends and family enjoyed two days of paddling down the river and camping on the beach.
