The GME and UW Health Worker’s Comp clarified that since you are UW Health employees, you should be following their reporting process whenever you have a workplace injury, regardless of your work location. Once your injury has been addressed, you must fill out a HERO. You should fill out the HERO as soon as you safely can and within 3 days of the event. You can find the link in the Pulse. Once that has been submitted you can contact the UW Health Worker’s Comp team for assistance. Here is their contact information:
Rachael Whitely, workers comp case manager rwhitely@uwhealth.org; 608-265-5563
Erin Dolnick, workers comp nurse case manager edolnick@uwhealth.org
General number: 608-821-1090
