A MAIN STREET COMMUNITY
Being part of the National Main Street Program is a huge boon to our city. It brings in resources and experts. It provides training and materials. It helps us visit other communities so we can learn from them instead of re-creating the wheel.
Being part of the National Main Street Program means that we’re ready to step up and do more so that downtown Prairie du Chien becomes more of a space where people socialize, a center of commerce, a cool place to live, and a main draw for tourism that benefits our entire region.
