Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Teaching
In the Fall 2025 semester, I am teaching two sections of Math 221 – Calculus and Analytic Geometry 1. Course information and materials will be posted on the Canvas page.
My past teaching positions can be found under Teaching.
Mentoring
During the summer of 2025, I was a graduate student mentor at the University of Michigan Math REU program, working with Bar Roytman and his students (Gavin Bell, Colin Feeney, and Ethan Harr) on the realizability problem for saturated transfer systems.
I have also had the opportunity to mentor undergraduate students through the UMich Math Directed Reading Program. If you would like to work with me, please send me an email!
A complete list of past projects can be found under Mentoring.
Outreach
During the summer of 2025, I was the Site Coordinator at the Ypsilanti Math Corps at U(M), a program that I have been part of in various roles since 2021. This program, founded by Sarah Koch and Stephen DeBacker in 2019, is a summer camp for middle school students and high school mentors from Ypsilanti, which follows the educational and mentoring practices of the Math Corps, a phenomenal program that started at the Wayne State University in 1992. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please contact Sarah Koch.
A complete list of outreach and service activities can be found under Service.
More About Me
I received my M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan in 2025. My advisor was Andreas Blass. In this period, I facilitated the Student Logic Seminar at the University of Michigan Mathematics Department, which, in the Winter, was a Model Theory reading seminar. I also had the opportunity to mentor undergraduate students through the Math Directed Reading Program.
I received my B.S. with high honors from the University of Michigan in 2024, majoring in Honors Mathematics and Economics, and minoring in Philosophy. My honors thesis, A Reverse Mathematical Analysis of Hilbert's Nullstellensatz and Basis Theorem, was jointly advised by Andreas Blass and Jamie Tappenden. In my senior year, I served as president of the Society of Undergraduate Mathematics Students, facilitating the Math Undergraduate Seminars and organizing peer-advising sessions.
