Out of respect for the substantial number of our colleagues who expressed concerns about traveling to Atlanta due to the coronavirus, the Leadership Team has decided to cancel the Spring 2020 in-person meeting, and instead, hold a modified, virtual meeting Friday, March 13th. Details about the online meeting will likely be posted early next week. Please hold the day.

Optional Outing Saturday afternoon.

Join your CIRTL colleagues at an optional Saturday afternoon visit to the Center for Civil and Human Rights. With exhibits on the American civil rights movement and global human rights, the Center is a signature Atlanta attraction you will not want to miss. Purchase your individual ticket directly with the Center for the 3pm entry on Saturday afternoon (March 14). We'll meet in the Renaissance Hotel lobby at 2:30pm and take the MARTA train ($5 round trip) to the Center, with a short walk through Centennial Olympic Park (If the .8 mile walk each direction is too long for you, consider hailing an Uber from the hotel). The Center closes at 5pm and is located at Centennial Olympic Park, a fun (and touristy) part of downtown. If anyone is interested in dinner after, groups can organize going out either near the museum or near the hotel. Let us know if you plan to join this group outing on the registration form.
