Benjamin Davis

Graduate Student - Researcher - Educator - Writer - Creator

Benjamin Davis (He/Him) is a media and cultural studies graduate student in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include digital hate, game studies, internet culture, and masculinity studies. He is passionate about public scholarship and outreach, and is always looking for opportunities to engage with the non-scholarly public.

He has presented his research at Console-ing Passions (2024).

Alongside his graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ben is a part of a long-term ethnographic project researching sexual and gender-based misconduct and Title IX reporting infrastructures on university campuses led by Dr. Michael Lempert (University of Michigan-Ann Arbor).
