Hi 4-H Families & Exhibitors,
We are officially less than 60 days away from one of the BEST weeks of summer — the Washington County Fair!
Now is the time to make sure your exhibit entries are submitted before the June 10th deadline. Please note that no late entries or exceptions will be accepted, so don’t wait!
We also encourage everyone to participate in our Sustainable Scarecrow Scholarship Contest, sponsored by GFL. Build a scarecrow using recycled or repurposed materials for the chance to win scholarship money — with the top prize being $1,000! Best of all, you do NOT need to be enrolled in a 4-H project to participate. More information and registration can be found on our website.
Exhibit entry tags will be available for pick up after July 4th. An email with pickup details and times will be sent closer to that date. Parking passes will also be available for pickup at that time for $50.
Thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, creativity, and countless hours spent preparing for this year’s fair. Your passion and commitment are what make the Washington County Fair so special each year, and we cannot wait to see all of your hard work shine this summer.
Get excited — fair week will be here before we know it!
Fairly Yours,
Tanya
Fair Manager

This is an unforgettable Wisconsin 4-H travel experience designed for middle school students in grades 6–8. Over President’s Day weekend in February 2027, youth will journey from Wisconsin to St. Louis, Missouri, by coach bus for an adventure that blends fun, learning, and cultural discovery. Along the way, participants will explore science museums, art centers, and enjoy live music and performances, all while sampling local flavors like St. Louis-style barbecue. The experience kicks off Thursday evening with an overnight stay at a camp facility in Illinois, where students will engage in teambuilding activities and build relationships with peers from across Wisconsin. After a weekend of hands-on, interactive experiences in STEM, art, music, and regional culture, along with two nights in a St. Louis hotel, the youth will ride through the night on Sunday and return home Monday morning with memories to last a lifetime. This is more than a travel experience, it’s a chance to spark curiosity, build connections, and see the Midwest in a whole new way!
This is a great opportunity for youth to take the first steps toward independence: staying overnight in a new place away from home. Use this program as a stepping stone for other overnight educational travel experiences.
The judging for the Clothing and Style Revue will be held on Monday, June 1 at Fair Park. The schedule was sent by email to all participants. It is also available at the link below.

For this spring month we celebrated the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo. A small chip bar was set up for snacks. A special game of Cinco de Mayo bingo was set up with small prizes. After this we did a special filling of comfort bags for cancer patients given to them when they are diagnosed with cancer. The bags were filled with goodies of mints, notebooks, blankets, and so much more. Our club is very proud to serve our community.
