Winfield High School
Adulting day is a day dedicated for high school students to learn a variety of life skills that they may need throughout their lives. This is a great opportunity for students to learn skills that they may not typically learn day to day in their classrooms.
The goal of this event is to give students the skills they need following graduation both inside and outside of the classroom.
How is works:
Students are given a new schedule for the day and travel to and from 30 minute sessions learning a new life skill. These skills vary from session to session; from learning to repair drywall, sew a button, write a thank you note, budgeting and so much more! Each of these sessions will help to prepare students to be successful adults as they enter into their post-secondary plans.
