FLEX is free temporary care for Lower School students who have an older sibling in grades six through twelve and for Middle School students who have a high school sibling. FLEX is also open for a nominal fee to those who need care before the regular drop-off time.
LEAP stands for our Laker Extended After-care Program and is offered to students in grade PreK4-6th grade. This program is designed to help the working parent by offering a structured after-school care environment that is both fun for the children and supportive of working parents. Students who attend LEAP will have time to get their homework finished with support and then participate in a variety of fun activities as they wait for their parents to pick them up after work.LEAP registration form MUST be completed prior to sending your child to LEAP. You may access the registration form here.

Community School offers after school enrichment classes to students of all ages. A variety of offerings are presented three times a year and typically meet once a week for an hour after school. These enrichment activities stimulate the creative, physical, and cognitive abilities by engaging them in fun, hands-on learning experiences. Students may choose to learn a new sport, participate in an art class, or create and program Lego robots to name a few!
The Community School is managed through Active Network which is an easy app based procedure to register, pay and manage your child's classes. Classes are listed for all grade levels, and you can filter to see just those for your child's grade level, for ease.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL OF THE DETAILS FOR THE CLASS WHEN YOU REGISTER. CLICK ON THE NAME OF THE CLASS (IN BLUE) TO EXPAND THE VIEW OF DETAILS. Day, time, pick up location and other pertinent information is located in the information/description box for each class.
Please email Laine Allen (laine.allen@windermereprep.com) if you have questions, and remember there are three more sessions this year, if the class you want fills or if a class you have seen in the past is not listed. Again, GOLF, BASKETBALL, SPORT COURT SPORTS, ETC. are not offered in this first fall session. They will be available at a later session.
Note that the session begins the week of Labor Day, so all Monday classes begin the following Monday, September 13th. Please make note that Monday, Thursday classes are 5 week sessions, Tuesday, Wednesday are 6 week sessions and Friday is a 4 week session, due to "no school" days.
