I had the pleasure of meeting "America's Educator", Ron Clark at the Blair County Convention Center. In 2000, Ron Clark received the Disney Teacher of the Year award. He has appeared at the White House, on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and his first year in a Harlem School District was featured on a movie, The Ron Clark Story starring Mathew Perry. He is the author of several books including the award-winning The Essential 55: Educator's Rules for Discovering the Successful Student in Every Child (2003). I have inspired to emulate much of Ron Clark's teaching and administrative styles throughout my career.
