Greetings Windber Area School district!

  It is a true privilege to serve as the Director of Education and Transportation for the Windber Area School District. Every day, I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our outstanding students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Together, we create a school community where everyone is valued, challenged, and encouraged to succeed. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve our district in several leadership roles, including Elementary Dean of Students and both Elementary and Middle School Principal. I began my career as a kindergarten teacher at the York Suburban School District, and I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from The Pennsylvania State University. As a proud graduate of Windber Area School District and a parent in our schools, I understand firsthand what makes our district so special. Our students benefit from caring, highly qualified educators who are committed to providing engaging learning experiences and helping every child reach their full potential. Just as importantly, our schools are strengthened by families and a community that continually support and celebrate our students' achievements. I believe that the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships among students, families, staff, and the community.
