About me

Personally I live in the Erskine area with my husband and two children. We enjoy being outside, playing games, and being around friends and family. My hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, creating, and sewing.

I graduated from Fosston High School and attended college at Bemidji State University. I received an Associate of Arts at BSU. Then graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with both Bachelor of Science in English and Secondary Education and Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Communication Studies.

I then graduated from Valley City State University with Master of Education in Library Science and Information Technologies. Finally I completed Doctorate of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University.

Prior to coming back to K-12, I worked in Higher Education for 10 years. I work in a variety of administrative positions including Dean of Faculty, Dean of Student Services, Academic Dean, and Campus Director. Additionally I developed and work with Lakewoods Educational Consultants to present trainings to teachers.
