Paul Edgerton

English Teacher at Hunt High School

BIOGRAPHY

Welcome! I've been here at Hunt for sixteen years and have been teaching for eighteen. I've taught fifteen courses here but have the most experience with English IV and World Religions.

Originally from Newport News, Virginia, I came to Wilson in 2002. I married Christie in 2006 (check her out on the Frederick Douglass Elementary school site), and we are raising three happy little weirdos, Isaac, Elizabeth, and Josiah. When I'm not at Hunt or home, you will most often find me at The Church of the Redeemer, where I serve as a priest.

My background and training were not in education or in English, and this career took me by surprise. I am a lover of literature, especially of Shakespeare, and love teaching teenagers, so the English classroom became home to me.
