Sydney Mitchell

  • What college or university do you hope to attend next year?

    • Appalachian State or UNC Chapel Hill

  • What is your career goal or future career plan?

    • I plan to go to college for Chemistry with a focus in forensics. With this I can pursue a career as a forensic chemist, hopefully working with either the FBI or SBI.

    • Throughout the years I’ve participated in swimming, marching and concert band, and various clubs. I'm currently a member of the National Honors Society and the Kindness Club.

  • What are your hobbies and interests?

    • I spend most of my time working at Target, but when I get a break I typically spend it playing video games. I built my computer myself and I love to tinker with software and new parts.

  • What does being a part of the IB Program mean to you?

Being a member of the IB program means I get to constantly be surrounded by friends and teachers who care for my future and want to help. It allows me to have a closer, more personal school experience.

  • How do you feel IB is preparing you for your future college and career goals?

    • I believe it has prepared me well for my college degree, as it has greatly improved my writing abilities as well as my time management skills.
