On Tuesday, November 8th our students in 8th grade will travel to the high school to watch the musical - Aida! This is a wonderful opportunity to support the Arts and watch the incredible talent of our Willmar High School students.
Calls need to be made to the Main Office by 2:15 pm to ensure adequate time for the message to be delivered.
Being on time and prepared to class is an expectation for all students. Middle school students are learning how to independently transition form class to class in a timely manner. Parents are encouraged to review attendance data through Campus Portal and regularly discuss the importance of punctuality. The middle school tardy policy is outlined below:
Students will receive lunch detention if they have three tardies in one class, or five tardies overall per term.
Parent/guardians will receive a notification if their child is assigned a lunch detention .
If ten tardies are reached in a term, your child will serve lunch detentions until administration meets with the parent/guardian to address and correct the issue.
Any student who has 10 or more tardies during the term of a dance or activity night will not be allowed to attend.
