Anytime that you use someone else’s pictures, you must cite that source!!

Places to go to get pictures for school projects.

1. Google Docs or Google slides: When you insert a picture on Google docs or slides and search on the right side bar, the pictures that show up are ones that you ARE allowed to use for you school projects. (but you still must cite that source and tell where it comes from.)

2. Library Website: The library website has many places that you can get pictures from.

Click on Research Center. The upper left hand corner has MANY websites that you are allowed to use for school pictures. But you must cite your source!

3. Google.com: You are allowed to search for images on Google, BUT you must set the settings correctly!! (And cite your source!)

Find Images in the upper left

Click Settings

Click Advanced Search

Scroll down to usage rights

Change usage rights to “free to use share or modify”

Click Advanced Search

Now you are able to search for pictures that you can use.
