At Willis ISD, we value the partnership between families and our libraries. Parents and guardians have the right to know what their child is reading and can view their student’s library checkouts anytime through the library Parent Portal or through the student side of the Sora App. If you have concerns about specific books, you may set limits for your child from within the library Parent Portal. Our goal is to support students as readers while also respecting each family’s choices.

Please view the video below on how to access the library parent portal to view checkout history for your student or to set limits for your student.  After viewing the video, you can click on the Library Parent Portal button to get access the portal.

Sora Access

Sora is a digital reading app for K-12 students that provides free access to ebooks and audiobooks from their school's digital library.  To view the history of sora checkouts, parents will need to access the sora app through destiny discover in Clever.  See the video below on how to get access.
