As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, the executive board of Williamsville Music Boosters extends our heartfelt thanks to our teachers, families, and community for their unwavering support of our students’ musical growth.
This year once again demonstrated the strength of our Williamsville community. Thanks to our 350+ members, Crescendo Club families, generous corporate partners, and the many concession volunteers who showed up at concerts throughout the year, we raised over $15K to sustain meaningful programs and expand opportunities for students and teachers.
The Boosters were proud to sponsor a wide range of musical experiences, including the District Wind Festival, jazz festivals, NYSBDA events at both the elementary and all‑state levels, guest artist clinics, and our practice awards. We were also honored to present scholarships to outstanding student musicians whose dedication continues to inspire us. In total, more than $13K in direct financial support was provided for these programs and initiatives. Our financial reports are routinely shared at general membership meetings and posted on our website (under events tab) afterward.
Our newsletters continue to shine a light on the many accomplishments across our district. This year, 12 student volunteers—six members of our Newsletter Board and six writers from Mill Middle, Transit Middle, East High, and North High—brought energy, creativity, and an authentic student voice to every issue.
We are also grateful for the volunteers who supported our concession efforts throughout the year. Their time and enthusiasm helped us maintain a presence at concerts and connect with families across the district. In total, we welcomed 10 new volunteers, along with many returning ones. We extend our special thanks to our lead volunteers, Mrs. Andrea Smith from the North High community and Mrs. Stacie Durnford from East High.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep creating new pathways for students to get involved, strengthen the connections that make our community so special, and continue supporting the music programs that bring so much joy to our district. Join us this summer—our Summer Music Program is now open for registration! Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us celebrate the incredible achievements of our young musicians.
