Make a Referral to the CARE Team
As a member of the Williams College community, you may encounter students who need additional help, guidance, or support. This referral form allows you to notify the CARE Team about these students.
CARE Referrals are reviewed on weekdays during regular business hours (except for college breaks and holidays). Please contact careteam@williams.edu with any questions about using this form.
This form is for non-emergency reporting. If this is emergency, please contact Campus Safety Services (CSS) at (413) 597-4444 (x4444 from a campus phone) immediately and then submit a CARE referral.

CARE Team Mission Statement
The CARE Team is a multidisciplinary committee that strives to promote individual student wellbeing and resilience while prioritizing a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus community.
The Team partners with faculty, staff, and students to:
Identify students exhibiting behaviors and/or navigating situations that have raised concern and would benefit from outreach and support.
Centralize communication and assessment to develop a holistic understanding of individual student needs.
Facilitate the connection of students to relevant campus resources and comprehensive interventions designed to address identified needs to promote student wellbeing and resilience.

CARE Team Info Sessions
CARE Team Info Sessions
Interested in learning more about the CARE Team and the work we do to support students? Please join us for one of our upcoming info sessions. These will be informal opportunities to learn more about the CARE Team, review data from the 2025-26 academic year, ask questions, and get free snacks and a CARE Team sticker. Please come whenever you can and stay for as long as you are able. Info sessions are currently scheduled for the following times:
Tuesday, September 29, 4:00-5:00 p.m., Hopkins Hall, room 001: Info session for students—snacks will be provided
Wednesday, September 30, 12:00-1:00 p.m., Davis Center Multipurpose Room: Info session for faculty and staff—Bring your own lunch, but cookies will be provided
Tuesday, October 6, 4:00-5:00 p.m., Davis Center Multipurpose Room: Info session open to all members of the Williams Community—snacks will be provided
