Welcome to 4th Grade!
Your Teacher at a Glance
My name is Kelsey Hutcheson and this is my 7th year of teaching. This is my first year in 4th grade and my first year at Willard Central! I can’t wait to start it with you all! For the past 6 years I’ve taught 5th grade.
My husband and I enjoy farming, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with our 2 boys Bryson (6) and Gabe (4). We live on a beef farm west of Ash Grove where we also have chickens and ducks! We’re always busy with something at our house.
As your teacher, I will do my best to support your growth goals, treat you with respect, give you grace as you grow and learn, and learn with you in your final year of elementary school! Throughout the year, we’ll grow together as we remember that “every moment and every person has a purpose.” I can’t wait for our journey as we discover more about ourselves and others with our different goals, talents, and purpose!

New learning adventures, new academic challenges, and more leadership moments than you can imagine lie ahead. With all that in mind, I look forward to teaming up with you and your family to make this year amazing!
The best learning happens when we synergize and build each other up. Everyday we’ll have a time for healthy brain snacks and a lot of structured movement in our classroom. Our learning will be active, intentional, and, best of all, powered by you. Your family will also be vital to our success in fourth grade!!
